London England Thrifting Haul!
For my cousin's birthday this year, she wanted to go to England to visit a family friend. We went for one week, spending most of our time touring th countryside of West Sussex, but we did take the train into London for a few days, and I'm so glad we did! Not only was London a breathtakingly magical city, but we also had some time to do a bit of thrift shopping. We were in Soho, which has a ton of vintage stores. To be honest, most were too carefully curated and overpriced for my tastes, but we did find a few little "Charity Shops" as they call them, where I found some great stuff.
This cashmere sweater is SO warm and cozy, and cost me $15 pounds (such a bargain for real cashmere)
This denim overall dress was 10 pounds. I had been seeing all the English girls wearing these and desperately wanted to find one but it wasn't until the very last shop that I finally spotted one (and praise the lord it fit me!) The striped top is from a clothing swap I did a few months ago with friends.
Dress - vintage New Look
Top - Forever 21
This little lacy crop top cost me 8 pounds. It has little gold buttons up the back which I love. The shorts are from a clothing swap, and the hat was given to me by my aunt Belinda who gives me so many beautiful hand-me-downs! (Ps. currently accepting applications for someone to take my photos for me so I don't cut off my head or feet in each one 😁)
Top - Forever 21
Shorts - Forever 21
Hat - Talula
This is another thing I saw all the English girls wearing and was inspired to buy for myself - an oversized white dress shirt. This is actually a mens shirt and it didn't have a label. I actually bought this one at Value Village when I got home from England.
Well that's all for now! I've procured a few other items in the past few months that I'd love to show you all, but to be honest I get exhausted trying to tape my camera in the right position on top of a stack of things on my coffee table to get the perfect angle for these photos! Got to find a better solution for that ...
Until next time,
Xo
Katy
